baby utensils... revamped.
This is going to be quick as I'm not feeling well at all today...
Remember my baby utensils project here? Well I kept feeling like all three frames needed a larger frame around them to make them look like one...
Then it hit me, thought wise not literally, I had this frame with some fabric in it hanging in our bathroom and the glass had broken during our move last year so I didn't need to worry about finding a new place for it to go...
I first tried some burlap but wasn't sure I likes how much the silverware was lost in the darkness of the burlap color and I wanted to leave the silverware tarnished to give the look of their true age...
So I tried the white matte that was previously in the frame, it brightened it up a little more but the silverware was still lost...
So I went out and bought some silvery grey linen and love how it turned out!
It looks so much more complete now! I used the same method I used the first time around only this time I wrapped the fabric around the backing of the frame sicne there was no glass. You can read how it's put together here.
Now I must go and rest as my hubby directed me to do! Not sure if I will be back on to post this week, between being sick and trying to prepare for a moving sale on Sat I think I may be a little busy the rest of the week! If you're south of Tampa, north of Sarasota and want to come to the moving sale email me and I'll give you directions...
