Shower Curtain Project and a New Addition

Have you been watching Sarah's House on HGTV with Sarah Richardson? I love the show and was more than sad as I watched the season finale last weekend. My saturday nights at 8:30 are now open (tear). One piece that really caught my eye was some fabric used as a bedskirt on the guest bed as well as for a shower curtain in the low (downstairs) bathroom.

(seen in the reflection of the medicine cabinet)

I've been wanting a new shower curtain for the boys'/guest bathroom in our home and I think hers would be perfect! Only thing is I don't have time to go hunting for a new shower curatin and I really don't want to spend much money on one either. So here is my question for you:

Do you think these 3 products...

can end up looking like the fabric above?

On a non-decorating note, this little guy joined the family a week ago today. He made his entrance into the world memorable and extremely fast...we learned he won't wait for anyone, not even the doctor!
Natural birth + having to push + a nurse who tells you not to push and wait for a doctor = unhappy and uncomfortable pregnant lady!

But I would go through all the chaos and discomfort all over again just to experience the joy and excitement of seeing and holding him for the first time! We are more than happy to have him as a part of our family and are excited to watch him grow along side his older brothers!

Hopefully I will be back later in the week to show you how the shower curtain turns out... unless it is a huge flop then we will just forget about the first half of this post!

Megan your home is beautiful! And with children you have created something very special for them, a clean safe home with childrens art and all the good things that come with kids. And with a new baby no doubt how do you find the time?! Your baby is adorable. Have fun and keep posting! Warm regards Pearl
